"Fanatastic place to unwind...""
I had a fantastic time at Villa Sanga with my love one and strongly recommend it to anyone looking to escape with a family or with some friends. Surrounded by padi field, experienced a great morning view, with a fresh breeze lightly touching your skin is just a fantastic place to unwind. Once you set your foot in this impressive villa, you and your family will never want to step out again.Herule Leo December 2011 Singapore
"Echo Beach far away in time!"
You will find that Villa Sanga is superbly constructed with attention paid to the minutest details. The villa has an infinity pool and it is by far the best pool in the best villa that we have stayed in during our many vacations to Bali. The villa's amenities are excellent whether it's the luxurious furniture and furnishings or the locally carved hardwoods that decorate the interior of the villa or the hand carved stoneworks outside. As you would rightly expect from a 5*villa every attention to detail has been employed and every room is exceptionally well appointed. You will find that each and every room has many hidden gems and surprises that will enthuse you every time you enter these rooms. The staff at Villa Sanga are incredibly attentive whilst also being very discreet and perform their duties with the utmost efficiency. The gardens are lush, varied and beautiful and, as you enter the sundeck area not only do you feast your eyes on the stunning gardens you are beckoned into a lovely outdoor jacuzzi so you can enjoy your margaritas whilst also enjoying the intoxicating scents from the tropical flowers. If you are a seasoned traveller to Bali you will know all to well that the traffic system in Bali is, to say the least, a bit mad! Relax! The driver that comes with the Villa Sanga rental is well experienced in driving the roads of Bali and, whilst I love the white knuckle rides, my wife doesn't, yet she was totally chilled out whilst Gede (pronounced G Day) drove the complementary car. All I can say is that from the moment we arrived at the airport and were met by Gede we had never felt so relaxed during our many, many previous visits to Bali. Will be be booking Villa Sanga again! You bet we will! Time and Time again!Meryl & Ritchie October 2011 Cardiff
"A Fantastic Villa away from the crowds."
We were very pleased with all aspects of the stay and had a fantastic time. The villa is in excellent condition with huge rooms/bedrooms furnished with taste in a Balinese style. There are three large en suite bedrooms, so visitors could have three couples in the villa and still have be plenty of room. The kitchen is well equipped and large, however we did not use it a great deal because the two people, Iyou and Okai (spellings?) were always on hand to take over with preparation, table setting and washing up. They were incredibly friendly and helpful and wanted our stay to be excellent and memorable. The garden is beautiful with flowering and huge broad leaved and coloured tropical planting, plus the obligatory Frangipani trees. The view from the pool and garden is over rice fields, we saw it harvested with sickles and the workers threshing the grain afterwards. There were three people available to help and provide services for us. The cleaning, bed making and changing was done in the manner you would expect from a good quality hotel. There was also a 6 seat car available for our use, driven by Agung who was able to tell us about the places we passed through. We used the 'have your meal cooked for you in the villa' service. We made the mistake of not trying it until near the end of our stay. The food was cooked in the kitchen by a local chef and served by him and Iyou. It was Fantastic! The total cost was also incredibly cheap. Our laundry was taken off and returned the next day, for an incredibly low charge. Echo beach is a ten minute walk. Travel on Bali is slow. The roads are narrow and populated by thousands of people on small scooters. Do not expect a 30 mile journey to be done quickly, it will most likely take over an hour. Eating out was easy and cheap. Even the top-end restaurants work out more cheaply than London prices in equivalent establishments. We would definitely consider Villa Sanga as part of our stay on our next visit to Bali. The Youngs August 2012 Oman
"Its hard not to love Bali...and the staff make you feel like you"
Amazing location, amazing staff, and beautiful place. Again the beauty of Bali and the staff make this place unbelievable!Ethan Appleby June 2012 Dubai
We had a wonderful holiday in Villa Sanga, it is a truly beautiful and peaceful location. There are 3 large en suite bedrooms with very comfy beds so plenty of space. The pool and garden were were also beautiful and we enjoyed sunbathing and relaxing in the mornings and then exploring Bali with agung (our excellent driver) in the afternoons and evenings...as mentioned in other reviews the traffic can be very tedious and slow at times but you just have to factor this into your plans. Echo beach is a 10 minute walk and it is fine in the daytime but at night a torch is definitely required, the Italian restaurant delivered delicious pizzas twice during our stay. We visited Ullawatu and watched the Kecak dance which was very entertaining and had a fabulous relaxing day at Nammos beach club, Karmakandara. It was always nice to come back to the villa to find Iluh and Oki waiting for us, we also had an evening dinner prepared for us by a local chef, the food was delicious and total cost very cheap. We enjoyed several evenings in nearby Seminyak with a memorable meal at Chandi, drinks at Potato Head and a wonderful fish supper on the beach at Jimbaran. This was our third visit to Bali and we both said how much we enjoyed Villa Sanga and its fabulous hospitality, we would definitely recommend and would love to return sometime soon.Gales Family August 2012 Muscat
"Villa Sanga ? What else ?"
We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Sanga in June 2012. We were 6 French people and my English is not good enough to describe how we appreciated our stay. Our stay at the Villas was perfection. First, the Villas exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. It was beautiful and comfortable. The staff were so friendly ( Maudy, Iluh, Agung, Oki, everybody). Congratulations for your avaibility, your smiles and your help to make our stay a real pleasure. The location in Canggu was not a problem : a car with a sympathic driver (Agung) was included when we needed to go to Semyniak ! We were close to Echo beach (walking 5/10 minutes). You can trust the pictures in the Villa Sanga's website. In a nutshell : a little piece of paradise.Yann July 2012 France
"Serene setting, spacious, luxurious villa and amazing hospitality"
The Villa is appointed with friendly, welcoming and professional staff. They enhance your stay with their prompt service but non-intrusive presence. The Villa is superbly appointed. Large bedrooms and king size beds. The pool is divine and the pool fence is a winning feature if traveling with young children. Added bonuses included an array of toys and a porta cot. Being in Canggu means you are away from the hustle bustle of Seminyak but if the traffic is bad it can be about 40 mins into town. However Echo beach is in walking distance and there is a great new cafe along the back road called Red Salt which adds variety to the local options. We will definitely be back to enjoy the space and serenity of the villa. The package including the driver, housekeeping and optional chef is very appealing also. Enjoy :)Tonia Bainbridge (following her 2nd stay at Villa Sanga) September 2012 Australia
